  1. Jupiter above the eastern trees

Conditions: thin high cloud bands drifting through, steady air between gaps, light ground haze near the horizon.

Two Galilean moons held clearly in binoculars, with brief moments of stronger belt contrast in the telescope.

  2. Andromeda Galaxy visibility check

Conditions: transparent sky overhead, mild neighborhood glow to the west, no moonlight interference.

The core appeared as a soft elongated patch to the unaided eye after dark adaptation, becoming broader with averted vision.

  3. First-quarter Moon terminator sweep

Conditions: crisp transparency, moderate atmospheric shimmer, cool and dry air after sunset.

Rim shadows inside several mid-latitude craters were especially distinct, with subtle texture visible along the terminator edge.

    · 19:55 local

  4. Late Perseid tail activity

Conditions: mostly clear with occasional low cloud strips, good horizon darkness to the northeast.

A few faint, swift meteors crossed short arcs near Perseus, enough to note lingering stream activity beyond the peak window.
